Create responsive eLearning, faster than ever

Since its launch, Rise has been championed as the fastest way to author responsive eLearning content. But with its most recent update – authoring has just become a whole lot faster.

All of the previous prebuilt lesson types (for example, labelled graphics, timeline and sorting cards) are available as blocks. Allowing you to quickly create unique eLearning courses, by dragging and dropping these components into your course, in any way you see fit.

Adding content to new lessons

As prebuilt lessons are now available as blocks, you can mix and match labelled graphics, process interactions, timelines, and sorting activities with text, images, buttons, and other block types.

When you add a lesson to your Rise project, you’ll now see a drop down which prompts you to ‘add content’ and then decide whether you want to choose a lesson or a quiz.

If you choose ‘quiz’, your authoring experience will be exactly the same as it was before the update. But if you choose lesson – you’ll now see a new blocks shortcut bar right at the top of your new lesson, giving you access to the most frequently used block types.

Simply click any of these block types in the shortcut bar to add them to your lesson. Plus – this shortcut bar travels with you, always staying below the blocks you have added to your lesson.

Turn your prebuilt lessons into blocks

If you already have prebuilt lesson types that you’d like to convert into blocks, you can easily do this by following the below:

1. Click to edit your prebuilt lesson and you’ll see a new ‘Convert to block’ button in the top right-hand corner of your screen.
2. And hey presto! Your prebuilt lesson is now a block. It really is   that  easy!

So, it’s clear to see that the latest update to Rise will simplify your workflow, allowing you to create beautiful, responsive courses, quicker than ever!
